Kayla Siciliano

Communications Director

I joined the Kin Club of Vanderhoof, then the Kinette Club of Vanderhoof, in 2021. I was introduced to Kin Canada by a friend who is extremely passionate about Kin and how it helped her grow as a person while contributing to our community. Since joining I have served on the club executive as Secretary and now as the President.

In 2022 the Kinettes Club of Vanderhoof and the Kinsmen Club of Vanderhoof amalgamated into one club; the Kin Club of Vanderhoof. Through Kin I have had plenty of opportunities to engage with the community of Vanderhoof, fundraise for Cystic fibrosis (one of Kin Canada’s partners), develop lasting friendships, and improve my leadership skills. I look forward to continuing to develop my leadership skills with Kin, and helping spread knowledge of the clubs in our district as the 2024-2025 District Communications person.

On a personal level, I am a Registered Professional Forester, working in Resource Construction and Operations. I spend as much time as I can travelling locally and to Mexico. I am happily married to an amazing man, who happens to be Mexican and the absolute best tour guide to travel Mexico with. I enjoy backpacking, photography, hiking, running, and spending time with family and friends.
