Lonny Wiebe

My name is Lonny Wiebe from the Bulkley Valley Kinsmen Club in District 5, and am currently serving a 3 year term as a Director on the Kin Canada National Board.

I was born and raised in a small town in Northern BC, joining Kin in 1997 at the ripe young age of 21. I’ve held a variety of positions at both a club and District level throughout my many years in the Association, including a two year term as District Governor and multiple terms as Deputy Governor, District Treasurer, and District Secretary.

Outside of Kin, I work for RBC Royal Bank as a Community Manager, overseeing four financial institution branches throughout the Bulkley Valley area. My wife and I enjoy raising and spending time with our 3 wonderful children, a 20 year old daughter and twin 18 year old boys. The area we live in boasts a beautiful outdoor landscape full of mountains, rivers and lakes where I get to enjoy my passion for outdoor activities including snowboarding, wakeboarding, hockey, mountain biking, and golf.

We have come a long way as an Association and gone through a ton of change and transformation over the years. We have a lot to be proud of, while at the same time we have a lot left to do still. I’m confident that with all of us fellow Kin across the country rolling up our sleeves and working together, we will continue to accomplish amazing things while ensuring our Kin Brand remains strong and relevant for another 100 years and beyond.
