Stacey Berry

Service Director

I joined the Kinette Club of Lake Cowichan in 2019, knowing that Kin Canada was a National Service Partner with Cystic Fibrosis Canada.  For 25 years, I have watched my best friend's family navigate life with a son who has Cystic Fibrosis and am grateful for the life changing improvements in his health, due in part by Kin Canada's contributions to Cystic Fibrosis Canada. I am honored to be a part of Kin for this reason alone.

In joining the Kinette Club of Lake Cowichan, I have made some life-long friendships, helped my community and enjoyed immense personal growth. I have held the club roles of Treasure, President and Vice-President, and have had the wonderful opportunity to be Service Director for District 5 (BC and Yukon) Kin and Director for the Kinsmen Foundation of British Columbia in the 2022/23 & 2023/24 service years.  These positions have taught me a great deal about Kin's National and District Service Partners: Canadian Blood Services, Cystic Fibrosis Canada and Kinsmen Foundation of British Columbia.  Kin helps more than just our community's greatest need, we help the Province and the Nation!

Personally, this year I celebrate 25 years of marriage with my husband Jeff. We have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.  We live on Vancouver Island where I enjoy golfing, fishing, camping, reading, crafting and playing board games with family and friends. I have been employed by the Cowichan Valley School District since 2003 and currently hold the position of Student Information Systems Manager.
