So I have the exciting privilege of once again writing my profile bio, since Darcy deleted the last one. He said it was deliberate so we could write more up to date bios, but the jury is still out on it.

Basically I joined Kin in Nov 2013 after my Kin-wife James (12 years Kin-marriage and counting) invited me to a "beer drinking club, where basically you just drink beer and give away money that's not yours". To be fair it wasn't an inaccurate description. During that time I've spent 12 years on my club executive - 2 years as Vice-President, 2 as President, 6 as Secretary and 2 as a Director.

This is my second year on District 5 having served last year as Secretary and doing my "job swap" with former DG Ruth. My goal for this year as well as to try to help the Lower Mainland Fraser Valley clubs as much as I can with regards membership and projects, is to also encourage Interclubbing and joint events between the zone's clubs, with fellowship events as well as service/social events. Obviously we have a long way to go before we can compete with the "Party Zone" North, but I feel we can get a little closer if we try ;p
