Drew Carmichael

Drew has been a member of the Kinsmen Club of Lake Cowichan for the past five years and, apparently having done nothing to discourage them, has been the club’s Treasurer for all five. For the 2026–27 Kin year, he’s taking his calculator to the next level as District 5 Treasurer.

Before Kin trusted him with the books, Drew spent 15 years building and running a technology company focused on the education sector, which he sold in 2020. He now works as a consultant in educational software, continuing to help school districts use technology to solve real-world problems.

When he’s not staring at spreadsheets, Drew likes to spend his summers sailing and golfing. In the winter, he trades the golf clubs for a broom and curls competitively.

Drew is looking forward to working with the District 5 team, supporting clubs throughout the district, and doing his best to make sure the numbers add up at the end of the year.
